Privacy policy
What data we collect, why, and your choices. Short and in plain English.
Last updated July 2026
Penny & Pixel (https://pennyandpixel.com) is published by Type 5 Marketing LLC. We collect as little as possible. This page explains what we do collect and why.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, which pages people read and which links they click. This uses cookies and collects standard, non-identifying data such as pages visited, approximate region, device type, and referring site. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we don't sell it. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or your browser's cookie controls.
Affiliate links
When you click a buy link and visit a retailer such as Amazon, that retailer may set a cookie so any purchase can be attributed to us for commission. That process is governed by the retailer's own privacy policy, not ours. See our affiliate disclosure for how the commissions work.
The contact form
If you send us a message, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide, and we use them only to reply to you. We don't add you to a marketing list. Our contact form uses honeypot and timing checks to block spam bots; it does not profile you.
Cookies
The cookies on this site come from the analytics and affiliate uses described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Your choices
You can browse without buying anything, opt out of analytics, and clear cookies at any time. If you have a question about your data or want a contact-form message deleted, email us at info@pennyandpixel.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
